About Us

How we run Gippsland Printers

We offer you the customer, the full range of printed products; whether a small run of brochures to suit a show or event; a pull up banner highlighting your company’s strengths; supporting a major marketing campaign with a run of catalogues or brochures; or simply ensuring your invoicing or quoting is duly noted with a run of Docket books. All these designed and printed on site, using a group of dedicated people who are from within your communities and care about our region.

Getting our work out on time and without compromise in terms of quality is part of our culture. It ensures that we have a sustainable business and that we provide relevance to you the customer. Many of our staff also hold individual awards of significance, presented as they complete their qualifications and pitted against industry rivals both city and country based.

It’s a pleasure to work with Gippsland Printers. As well as having a great design team, the timely printing turnaround for our work is much appreciated. Another talented local business!

phn Gippsland

We boast 3 on site designers each with different skills and strengths.  However, the one common denominator is their ability to create a finish that is print specific.  We can begin from a blank canvas, or work with the content that you already have.  You will always have the final approval of your design before we go to print.

We bring real print power to the table with our manufacturing plant located in Morwell.  It houses an Offset Press and 2 Production Digital Presses.  There is not much we cannot print meaning your job stays local, and is produced by local people. No Gippsland based commercial printer can equal our on-site printing power, please feel free to request a visit to our factory to see your print in action.

Print Finishing is an industry on its own and we are lucky enough to not only house an abundance of finishing options, but also 4 fully qualified staff members to fully utilise this equipment.  From saddle stitching to stab stapling, from perfect binding to wire binding, from padding to drilling, we cover the majority of print finishing requirements, and again, all at our Morwell factory.

Paper Facts in A Digital World

An international survey of over 10,700 consumers was commissioned by Two Sides and carried out by independent research company Toluna in June 2017. Some of the key findings were:

  • Consumers worldwide prefer to read the printed version of books (72%), magazines (72%) and newspapers/news (55%) over digital options. Many respondents also indicated that reading in print is more enjoyable than reading electronically.
  • 86% of consumers believe that they should have the right to choose how they receive communications (printed or electronically), at no extra charge, from financial organisations and service providers.

  • More consumers believe they gain a deeper understanding of the story when read from print media (65%) over online news sources (49%). In addition, consumers also trust the stories read in printed newspapers (51%) more than stories found on social media (24%).
  • Many consumers do not pay attention (68%) to online advertisements and 57%do their best to avoid them. 46% would be more likely to take action after seeing an advertisement in a printed newspaper or magazine than they would if they saw the same ad online.

Gippsland Printers always provide excellent service and high standard products. I highly recommend and will definitely be using them for future promotional materials.”
